The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
